Nice music!! I've been playing drums for 14 years and Mary Swanson (she wrote a comment below) is a good friend of mine. I was googling and this page came up as a result with Mary's name on it. Glad I found it though. Check out Mary's site if you have not already done so. I know you'll like it. Keep doing what you are doing and us "band nerds" which you refer to as "band friends throwing ice at you" won't be ribbing you so much. You have a nice style of music. Just saw you perform at Accoustic Coffee in Edenton tonight. Thought both the vocals, guitar playing and compositions were excellent------EXCEPT, difficult to understand all the lyrics. Would be interested in getting some of your song lyrics. Some songs sounded a Christian Theme, which I like.
I will continue to search your site for lyrics. Aslo, wish you had a more extensive bio. You said you were from N.C., but where? My wife and I have a home in Hertford (near Edenton) and also a home in Western NC. (Spruce Pine). I have also done much back-packing in the mountains and can relate to your comment on coming our of the brush and seeing the view. All 8 to 12 hours of hard walking is suddenly worth it. Good life lesson.
Hope we can catdh another performance sometime.

Anywho, now I work at Western Carolina University, and I noticed you are coming to campus next week. I can't wait to hear some of your new stuff. My first introduction to Brooke and her music was at a house concert in January 2006. Her song writing speaks volumes, her intricate rifts on the guitar are often in alternate tunings, and her vocal style is very unique. Great Performer!
